On Sunday night, The Simpsons will air its 600th episode. Over 27 seasons, the show has become one of America’s cultural mainstays, as well as an eerie predictor of contemporary events and a source of biting humor. Luckily, Jimmy Kimmel got to jump into the cartoon world of Homer Simpson himself during his show on Thursday. The TV host received a personal tour of Springfield—from the nuclear power plant to the local dive bar to some family introductions.
“And this is baby Maggie!” Homer says, presenting Kimmel with his youngest daughter.
“Aw, how old is she?” Kimmel asks.
“I never ask a lady her age,” Homer insists gallantly.
“Yeah, but she’s been a baby for a while,” Kimmel points out. Unfortunately, that is one answer we don’t get in this “50-cent tour.” Watch above for the full experience.
