Game of Thrones may be the winningest scripted show in Emmys history, but it’s still severely lacking in one aspect: musical numbers. Luckily, James Corden put an end to that on Tuesday night’s episode of The Late Late Show, enlisting the help of Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Alan Cumming to work a much-needed song into Ned Stark’s beheading scene.
The trio also took on Breaking Bad and Stranger Things during the “Inappropriate Musicals” segment, with Cumming performing a jazzy tune as Walter White while Corden took the lead as the Demogorgon to belt out an ’80s rock ballad.
“I want to rock your body all around,” Corden sang. “I want to take you pretty mama to the Upside Down.”
