Binge alert: The second season of the Emmy-nominated comedy Black-ish is available for free on iTunes.
All 24 episodes will be available to download through Wednesday, Aug. 17, including the topical episode “Hope,” which deals with police brutality.
“The episode was about having a conversation with your kids and about what’s going on in the world,” showrunner Kenya Barris told EW earlier this year. “We really tried to make sure we gave ourselves enough balance to still get the point across but at the same time, give people an entry point where they felt like they could get into it and not be bummed out the whole time.”
Black-ish received three Emmy nominations this year, including a second consecutive nod for Anthony Anderson for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, a first-time Outstanding Comedy Series nod, and a first nomination for Tracee Ellis Ross for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
