Senator Ted Cruz is in southern California this week for a campaign fundraiser, and on Wednesday night, he stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kimmel came at him with a string of arbitrary questions, and we ended up learning quite a lot about the Republican presidential candidate: for instance, he’s seen every Star Wars film, and his favorite breakfast cereal is Mueslix. His first concert was Men at Work, the Australian new wave group behind “Down Under;” he went with his mom. A few years later, he saw Pink Floyd live, where he encountered a uniformed police officer smoking a joint.
Kimmel also asked Cruz whom he disliked more — President Barack Obama or his opponent in the Republican primary, Donald Trump.
“I dislike Obama’s policies more,” Cruz said. “But Donald is a unique individual.”
He also suggested that he might be inclined to run over this “unique individual” with an automobile.
“If I were in my car and getting ready to reverse and saw Donald in the backup camera, I’m not confident which pedal I’d push,” he said.
