Jurassic World remained atop the domestic box office over Father’s Day weekend, pulling in $102 million.
Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out, which premiered on Friday, came in a close second with $91 million in domestic revenue, according to estimates released by box office tracker Rentrak. The win for Universal ends Pixar’s streak of No. 1 domestic debuts, Variety reports. Jurassic World, which grossed $209 million last weekend, also joined Marvel’s The Avengers (2012) as the only two films in history to top $100 million domestically in two different weekends.
The dinosaur flick previously shattered a number of box office records during its opening weekend, with an initial domestic haul of more than $204 million and a global gross of $512 million.
Here’s how the top 5 rounded out: Spy came in at No. 3 with $10.5 million; San Andreas took No. 4 with $8.2 million; and Dope grabbed No. 5 with just more than $6 million.
