It turns out Lena Dunham won’t be the only HBO star to show up on the Season 27 premiere of The Simpsons. Her entire posse of Brooklyn ladies will also appear on the episode “Every Man’s Dream,” slated for September.
As previously reported, Dunham will voice a love interest for Homer Simpson, a pharmacist named Candace. Executive producer Al Jean tells EW that Jemima Kirke, Allison Williams and Zosia Mamet will play her friends on the episode, in what he calls “a Girls reunion, even though Girls is still on the air.”
We’re guessing Fox won’t allow as much nudity as HBO—even if it is a cartoon world.
