Giants announce dates fans can attend training camp practices

The Giants will open 11 training camp practices for fans to attend free of charge, culminating with two joint practices against the Lions.

The dates that fans will be welcomed at Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford are July 24, July 25, July 26, July 28, July 29, July 30, Aug. 1, Aug. 2, Aug. 4., Aug. 5. and Aug. 6.

Gates will open at 8:30 a.m. each day, with practice set to begin at about 10 a.m.

If inclement weather forces practice to be moved indoors, practice viewing will be cancelled.

Fans must reserve a free ticket at giants.com/trainingcamp to gain admission.

Season ticketholders will gain exclusive access to reserve tickets beginning at 2 p.m. on July 9, and the general public will have its turn beginning at 2 p.m. on July 11.

In addition to practice, training camp includes autograph opportunities with current players, meet-and-greets with Giants legends and a kids zone play area.

The Giants and Lions practiced head-to-head in Michigan last season and this is the return trip.

The teams will square in the preseason opener at MetLife Stadium on Aug. 8 after sharing the practice field on Aug. 5 and Aug. 6.
