Oilers vs. Panthers Game 7 prediction: Stanley Cup Final odds picks, best bets

Surreal drama has engulfed the Stanley Cup Final.

The Oilers have battled all the way back from 3-0 to even the series and they’re now approaching favorite status in Game 7 on the road.

Edmonton has looked fantastic since righting the ship in Game 4 when it won 8-1 and clearly got under the skin of goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky.

The Oilers are now -115 favorites on BetMGM, just ahead of the Panthers, who come in at -105 odds.

Four teams have rallied back from a 3-0 deficit and won a playoff series and the Oilers look poised to make it five Monday night.

Should they complete the feat, the Oilers would be just the second team in Stanley Cup Final history to come back from a 3-0 hole, with the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs being the other.

Superstar center Connor McDavid has a chance to etch his name into history forever and become immortal, in addition to being the league’s best player.

Oilers vs. Panthers Game 7 prediction

(8 p.m. ET, ABC)

Front Office Sports reports that legendary goalie Roberto Luongo will bang the Panthers’ drum before Game 7, and maybe he can give Bobvrosky words of encouragement before the biggest game of his career.

His play has been largely erratic since he was pulled in the Game 4 blowout.

Evan Abrams of the Action Network keenly pointed that the stats are staggering towards the under for this contest.

Unders are 44-26-9 (63 percent hit rate) in Game 7 of the NHL playoffs, with a whopping 14 straight Stanley Cup Final Game 7s going under 5.5 goals.

Every game as been set at 5.5 this series, but the over has cashed each of the last four games.

ESPN BET told The Post that 64 percent of the handle is on over 5.5 at +125 Monday evening but not all books have the same interest in the over.

Fanatics informed The Post that 75.1 percent of all money is on the under 5.5, while BetMGM also reported similar strong action with 64 percent of money on the under.

BetRivers also seems to be getting some serious action on the under, as well, with their projection set at 5 with heavy juice towards the over.

Color me a skeptic, but these historical trends can be pointless in sports betting.

Buy the dip and bet on this long-time Stanley Cup trend to be bucked this evening.

For those looking at a prop, target the Oilers’ flying wing, Warren Foegele, who has stepped up in Evander Kane’s absence.

His shot total comes in at 1.5 with slight juice towards the over at -135.

He scored last time out and has cleared this number in three games this series, with his time on ice steadily increasing from 1:54 in Game 2 all the way up to 14:40 in Game 6.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the wild night of hockey we have in store.

PICK: Over 5 total goals scored (-139, BetRivers) | Warren Foegele over 1.5 shots on goal (-135, FanDuel)
