I took my 9-year-old son to Hooters to celebrate good grades — trolls say I’m ‘creepy as f–k’

Tit for tot?

A British father bursting with pride for his son is being called a boob for taking the 9-year-old to Hooters to celebrate his good grades.

“We went to Hooters as a reward for Buddy getting [a] great report in school,” Paul Edwards, 36, told LADbible of the uplifting move.

The cheeky dad posted a Twitter photo of his grinning son relishing burgers and onion rings at the Liverpool joint Monday while surrounded by scantily clad waitresses.

“Nice quiet meal with me boy,” the caption reads.

Besides the bra-sitive reinforcement, Edwards also wanted to show his progeny that Hooters is, in fact, real — something Buddy didn’t believe before.

“He always thought it was fake, so when one opened up in Liverpool, I surprised him with a visit,” the Brit gushed. “He was a bit shy at first but then he loved it — the staff were great and so helpful, and the food was beautiful.”

He added, “It’s a great place to watch the match.”

Best of all, Buddy’s mom was “cool” with the unorthodox academic incentive and even dropped the pair off at the ta-ta temple, Edwards claimed.

Twitter users were less supportive. “Mate this is creepy as f- -k,” slammed one detractor, while another accused Edwards of using his kid “as an excuse for your voyeurism.”

“I don’t think he’s smiling cause of the meal,” declared another knocker, referencing the pic of Buddy’s pilgrimage. “I feel like Hooters needs to have a rule saying you can’t be allowed in if you’re under the age of fifteen or something.”

Meanwhile, one incensed poster wrote, “So if your wife took your daughters to see naked men would that be OK?”

But other Twitter users thought critics were making mountains out of molehills. They sided with Edwards — with some even posting pics of the times they took their own young sons to Hooters.

Ultimately, Edwards doesn’t regret the experience one bit. “He loved it and wants to go again [this] weekend,” the patriarch fawned on Twitter.

“I want to come here every week for a dad and lad night,” seconded Buddy. “The food’s great!”

Edwards isn’t alone in facing backlash for toting his tot to the breast-aurant. Earlier this month, parents were skewered on social media for taking their 5-year-old son to Hooters on his birthday.
