YouTube star JiDion gets kicked out of US Open for getting a haircut

The U.S. Open briefly turned into a barbershop on Tuesday night.

YouTube star JiDion, who was sitting in the front row during a night session match between Nick Kyrgios and Karen Khachanov, was shown getting a haircut as spectators looked on with a mixture of shock and bemusement. The social media prankster did not get to enjoy the attention for long, as he was removed by security.

“When someone saw it, security went to the two individuals. They were escorted out of their seats and then off the grounds for disruption of play. There’s a first time time for anything.” the USTA’s Brendan McIntyre said.

It wasn’t the first time JiDion decided to get a haircut at a sporting event. In March, he also decided to get a trim at a Timberwolves home game against the Mavericks on March 25.

He also was banned from Wimbledon for life after blowing an airhorn during a quarterfinal match between Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner in July.

Believe it or not, JiDion isn’t the only one to make a sporting venue a makeshift barbershop.

A couple of weeks ago during a Yankees’ loss to the Rays, the Bleacher Creatures decided to get into the hair-cutting business.

And JiDion apparently wanted a viral clip, too.
