The “W’s” for George Kittle didn’t stop after the 49ers defeated the Bengals in overtime Sunday.
On Wednesday, the Pro Bowl tight end was named the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Week following his performance in Cincinnati, where he had 13 receptions for 151 yards and a touchdown in San Francisco’s overtime win. Kittle’s wife, Claire, later took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone.
“Proud of you @gkittle,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Kittle, who is in his fifth NFL season, has amassed 757 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games this year. Prior to the 2020 season, Kittle signed a five-year extension with the 49ers worth $75 million.
The 49ers (7-6) will face the Falcons (6-7) at home this Sunday.
Claire, who has been married to Kittle, 28, since April 2019, has been a game-day staple all season long. Earlier this month, she trekked to Seattle to see her husband’s monster game.
This week, however, the Kittles seem to be enjoying their time together off the field, even taking in a showing of the upcoming blockbuster, “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” The threequel — which stars Tom Holland and Zendaya — has been getting rave reviews from critics, including Mrs. Kittle herself.
“Best movie I’ve ever seen @spidermanmovie,” she posted Tuesday on her Instagram Story.
And, based on Kittle’s recent Instagram post, it seems he’s just as fond as the webhead as well.
