Yankees vs. Mariners prediction: Bombers’ win streak ends here

This just in: That bridge north of New York City will hereby be known as the “Mario, Not Andrew, Cuomo Bridge.”

Heading back to Yankee Stadium on Saturday, where the Bombers won for us Thursday. With no Gerrit Cole, no Jordan Montgomery and no Luis Severino (remember him?), Aaron Boone begrudgingly gives the ball to Andrew Heaney (6-8, 5.42 ERA).

Heaney comes off a forgettable start, allowing the low-octane Orioles to score four runs in four innings. The Mariners’ Chris Flexen (10-5, 3.75 ERA) has been a dependable starter all year. Got the win at Tampa Bay in his latest, limiting the high-octane Rays to two runs over 6 ²/₃. Mariners are a worthy road ’dog, so we will switch dugouts and take Seattle for 10 units.

That’s ’Wright. Adam Wainwright has won three times for us in the last month. Cards flushed the Royals, 4-2. Debt shaved to -765 frankyfrischs.
