Nationals vs. Astros prediction: World Series Game 7 belongs to Houston

Garden Party! Knicks won their first game of the season Monday night. Celebration was short-lived as one NBA scout said/warned that rookie RJ Barrett is “all around the ball and the boards — he’s the new Melo.” Killjoy …

Halloween Party! The MTA’s holiday celebration will be held under the elevated “7” line. Family friendly activities include scavenger hunt for fallen debris. The popular “Lookout!” races for the kiddies as the train passes overhead. And rumor has it Sam Darnold will tell ghost stories.

One game. Season started in March and now it comes down to one game. No official word, but the Astros will most likely pitch Zack Grienke on regular rest. And with the season on the line Gerrit Cole may be called on late. The Nats report Max Scherzer’s neck and back have improved and he is good to go, with the capable Anibal Sanchez on call if he isn’t. Our season is on the line as well. We have a series bet on Houston waiting to be cashed so we will obviously will take the Astros in Game 7 for 40 units no matter who pitches.

Nats survived, winning Game 6 handily, 7-2. Stephen Strasburg pitched 8 ¹/₃ awesome innings. Justin Verlander’s World Series record is now 0-6 after he allowed three runs over five. Anthony Rendon with three hits, five RBIs including a homer. Still playing for keeps Wednesday night but loss has us at -319 mazeroskis.
