Luxury rug designer Ben Soleimani shares his home essentials

As a member of the fourth generation of a family of Persian rug purveyors, Ben Soleimani knows his threads. At 18, he left his London home for Los Angeles to bring his family business, Mansour, stateside, modernizing the rug industry with fresh textures and designs. The real estate investor, polo player and married father of two went on to become Restoration Hardware’s esteemed rug partner in 2010. And last February — after nearly a decade with RH — the minimalism-minded designer launched his own line of luxe rugs, furniture and throws, all available direct to consumers. “I love high-quality materials, weaves, textiles, elevated textures and designs, within a streamlined, clean overall aesthetic,” Soleimani says. Here are a few of the pieces that make his home — and his life — so plush.
