Two killed when car slams into concrete wall in the Bronx

Two people were killed when their car slammed into a concrete wall underneath subway tracks in the Bronx Friday evening, police said.

A 23-year-old man was driving a 2005 Nissan sedan southbound on Whitlock Avenue when he crashed into the wall underneath the No. 6 train near 165th Street in Foxhurst at about 6 p.m., cops said.

The impact killed both him and a 30-year-old woman who was in the front passenger’s seat, authorities said.

A 20-year-old man who was in the back seat was seriously injured, cops said. He was in stable condition at St. Barnabas Friday night.

Their identities were not immediately released. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
