NYPD cops rescue kitten trapped under car

Two feline-friendly officers rescued an adorable kitten trapped under a car in Brooklyn Monday, video footage shows.

The aww-inducing clip shows emergency service detectives Keith Connelly and John Ryan coaxing the frightened furball out from a space above the car’s muffler at around 12:30 p.m. in Midwood, police sources said.

When one of the cops grabs the cat and frees it from the black sedan, several onlookers cheer, “Yay!” according to footage posted on Twitter by NYPD Chief of Special Operations Chief Harry Wedin.

The internet-famous kitty lapped up attention and plenty of milk after it was saved, Wedin said.

“#BreakingMeows: Purrrrfect Job by #NYPD ESU Detectives Connelly & Ryan rescuing a kitten that was stuck in the undercarriage of a car in Brooklyn,” Wedin tweeted. “The cat received fresh milk and is doing fine.”
