Tim Lincecum is now jacked and attempting MLB comeback

Tiny Tim is no more.

Former Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum resurfaced on social media Tuesday after mysteriously disappearing. The two-time Cy Young award winner seemed to hint where he’s been hiding for over a year as he prepares for a potential comeback to baseball — in the gym.

Lincecum, 33, was spotted baring a slim muscular shirt showcasing his new cannon arms, which looked non-existent the last time he appeared in the majors with the Angels in 2016. Rockies pitcher Adam Ottavino posted the picture to Instagram revealing Lincecum’s new bulky look.

Driveline Baseball founder Kyle Boddy tweeted Lincecum was training at his facility and will throw for teams in the near future. Boddy also said that Lincecum chose to train at his facility in Seattle and confirmed that he is “pretty jacked.”

Lincecum’s last go-around in the majors didn’t go as planned. He signed a $2.5 million contract with the Angels in 2016 but was designated for assignment by August after he went 2-6 with a 9.16 ERA in just 38 1/3 innings pitched. His agent previously said that Lincecum has been staying in shape with hopes of pitching again.
