Sounds like LeBron is getting his man

Parts of the first modern super-team are reuniting to take on the current Goliaths.

Dwyane Wade will rejoin LeBron James, this time in Cleveland, according to The Vertical, a few days after the Bulls bought out Wade. His decision — not Decision — reportedly could be finalized as soon as Wednesday, and he’s eligible to sign a one-year, $2.3 million deal with the Cavaliers.

Wade had considered the Thunder, Spurs and returning to Miami, but is choosing his banana-boat buddy in Cleveland and likely the easiest route to the Finals. The Celtics and Kyrie Irving figure to stand in their way, and the Warriors likely will be waiting for a four-peat Finals matchup.

The Heatles, minus Chris Bosh, would unite seven years after James followed Wade to Miami, where they won two championships together.

Wade averaged 18 points per game for Chicago last year, and the 35-year-old guard will be especially helpful early on, with Isaiah Thomas expected to be sidelined until at least January.
