According to Google, the New York Jets have a new owner — Tom Brady.
On Thursday, Google apparently was the latest victim of online hacking — or proved it has a truly cruel sense of humor — when a simple search on the site for “Jets owner” came back with an image of the Patriots’ starting quarterback.
To be fair, Brady is an owner of the Jets in some ways, having won 23 of his 30 career games played against the Jets. That includes a 41-3 blowout against the Patriots rivals in week 16 of last season.
For the record, Woody Johnson remains true owner of the Jets.
The Post reached out to Google, which offered no comment but was able to confirm the incorrect search result no longer appears online.
