Odell Beckham grants cancer-stricken fan’s desperate wish

Odell Beckham Jr. made good on his promise.

The Giants receiver traveled to Amarillo, Texas, over the weekend, where he spent time with his biggest fan, 9-year-old cancer patient Jayro Ponce.

“We were blessed to spend time with this amazing soul and his friend! There’s no words for this experience. Jayro enjoyed this experience to the fullest. Thank you Make A Wish!” Ponce’s supporters posted Saturday on Facebook.

The fourth-year wideout pledged to visit Ponce, who was diagnosed with a malignant Rhabdoid tumor last December, after seeing several pleas on Twitter to make his wish come true. The father of Beckham’s teammate, Weston Richburg, helped coordinate the meeting.

“Young Jayro, keep fightin brotha!!! I’m wit u! #MilkshakesMilkshakes @jayroponce07 @jayroponce07 uve given me life!!!” Beckham posted Sunday on Instagram.

The Giants are set to report to training camp on Thursday.
