12-year-old boy mugged on Long Island

Police on Long Island are hunting for two suspects who attacked and robbed a twelve year old boy.

The Elmont boy was walking home with his iPad in his hands. When he reached his home on Chelsea Street, police say that two unidentified males walked up to the boy. One of the suspects punched him in the face while the other grabbed the iPad. The pair then ran away.

The victim ran into his home and immediately called the police. A Nassau County police ambulance transported the boy to a hospital to treat a contusion to his forehead.

Police are asking that anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
