‘Tommy Shots’ shot at freedom

This mobster’s going stir crazy!

An attorney for Colombo crime boss Thomas “Tommy Shots” Gioeli filed a long-shot letter in Brooklyn federal court yesterday requesting that his client be freed until he’s sentenced in the fall.

Gioeli beat six murder raps last month — including the execution of an off-duty NYPD officer — but still faces up to 20 years after being convicted of three murder conspiracy charges.

The one-time street boss spent the past four years awaiting trial behind bars.

Attorney Adam Perlmutter tried his best to rebrand Gioeli as a model citizen in his letter to the court.

“It is not reasonable to think that after almost 20 years of freedom without committing a crime, Gioeli would be likely to be a danger in the three months before his sentencing,” Perlmutter wrote.

A hearing is set for next week.
