Dealer hid drugs in baby’s diaper bag: cops

A dastardly dad dealt bulk coke and heroin out of his daughter’s stroller and diaper bag, officials said yesterday in announcing they’d busted a four-man drug gang based at the Chelsea Houses.

Accused ringleader Epifanio Santiago, 44, of Manhattan — nicknamed “Frenchie” — was caught on surveillance video bringing the baby to a June meeting with an undercover cop, officials said.

During the sale, at West 25th Street and Eighth Avenue, Santiago pulled more than 200 glassines of heroin out of the baby’s diaper bag, according to Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget Brennan.

Accused accomplice Deion “Peso” Alonzo, 23, of Manhattan, then retrieved 2 ounces of nearly pure coke out of the baby’s stroller, Brennan said.

In all, Santiago sold nearly $11,400 in drugs and guns during a four-month investigation, Brennan charged.

Santiago and Alonzo also face child-endangerment charges.

Santiago, an ex-con who served three jail sentences, was arrested Tuesday.
