‘T
he Fairly Odd Parents” is coming to life — and the results may take some getting used to.

Here’s a look at Jason Alexander and Cheryl Hines as fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda in a live-action TV movie version of Nickelodeon’s hit cartoon series — “A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!

Alexander posted the unauthorized photo on his Twitter site, setting off a lot of questions about what the movie will look like.

Series creator Butch Hartman says that the actors are perfect for the quirky OddParents roles because, “Cheryl has some elements of the character Wanda. She has a big smile and big eyes, and Jason has a very cherubic look to him — and I mean that in a good way. Plus, he was willing to wear the wig.”

The OddParents are animated for most of the hour-long movie, but they become human for two scenes, Harman says.

“They’re trying to get Timmy’s [‘Drake & Josh‘ star Drake Bell] attention while he’s at dinner with a girl, so as a last resort they turn into waiters and actually go up to the table and mess up the dinner,” he says.

To accommodate their jump from animated to live action, Hartman says, “They show up as humans, say ‘Wow, I have hairy legs and my voice is different, I like it!’ and then go off and do their scene.”
