Manhattan–A knife-wielding thief cleaned out an employee at an Upper East Side Laundromat, police sources said yesterday.

Brandishing a knife, the 6-foot-1 crook barged into 88 Cleaners on 88th Street near Lexington Avenue at 1:05 p.m. Monday.

He threatened a 55-year-old employee ironing clothes, took $100 from her and fled.

A sex fiend was busted for brutally attacking a woman in his Little Italy apartment, police sources said yesterday.

Christopher Konneker, 30, met the 32-year-old woman in a Brooklyn nightclub and took her back to his apartment on Mulberry Street near Broome Street at 3 a.m. on Jan. 31, cops said.

Inside, Konneker allegedly forced himself on her and choked her into unconsciousness.

She awoke with her body covered in blood, two black eyes, strangulation marks on her neck and lacerations below the waist.

She was treated at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Konneker was arrested Monday, said a spokesman for DA Cyrus Vance Jr.

Hope the animals aren’t packing heat.

A Parks Department worker discovered five bullets and two shotgun shells near the Central Park Zoo, police sources said yesterday.

The worker was cleaning the area near the 65th Street Transverse at 3 p.m. Saturday when he found five live rounds and two spent shells, the sources said.

The NYPD evidence-collection team scooped up the ammunition.

Call this suspect a Stupor Bowl loser.

An argument over a bar stool at the end of the Super Bowl telecast turned violent in an Upper East Side bar, police said yesterday.

Joseph Baugher, 24, allegedly struck the victim in the face in Citibar on First Avenue at 75th Street at 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Baugher was charged with misdemeanor assault.

Staten Island

A thug picked the wrong time to take a nap after assaulting his girlfriend and barricading them in her Stapleton apartment, cops said yesterday.

Edwin Garcia, 21, argued violently with his gal pal in her apartment on Harrison Street near Brownell Street at 5 a.m. Wednesday, sources said.

He barricaded the pad, using a refrigerator at the door, police said.

When Garcia fell asleep, the victim called 911.

Garcia was charged with assault, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.

A suspect showed his sensitive side as he was arrested in a stolen car, telling his cohort, “I’m sorry to put you through this again,” cops said yesterday.

Jason Rodriguez, 21, apologized after his pal, Allen Booker, 18, groaned, “I can’t believe I’m getting arrested for this again.”

The drama began at 3:30 p.m. Monday when Rodriguez allegedly entered a restroom in an office building, found a car key someone had absentmindedly left behind and located the vehicle with its remote-control door-key lock.

The woman who had misplaced the key reported her car stolen that day.

The next day, police spotted Rodriguez and his accomplice, Allen Booker, 18, in the stolen tan Honda at Castleton Avenue and Dongan Street in Port Richmond, cops said.

Queens

A trespasser posing as a building inspector was nabbed after fleeing a Fresh Meadows home, authorities said yesterday.

Gregory Williams, 47, allegedly scaled a fence surrounding the residence on Underhill Avenue near 192nd Street at 4:15 p.m. on Jan. 22.

The homeowner confronted Williams, who allegedly said, “I’m a building inspector. I have ID in my car.”

They walked together to the vehicle, where Williams jumped in and fled, sources said.

Williams was tracked down and charged with criminal impersonation and criminal trespass, a spokeswoman for DA Richard Brown said.

A drunken motorist was busted after he slammed into a vehicle and nearly struck a police car in Corona, cops said yesterday.

Stanislaw Boksa, 58, was driving an Oldsmobile along 40th Road near 102nd Street at 7 p.m. Sunday when he smashed into the driver’s side of another vehicle and fled, sources said.

He then careened across double yellow lines at 102nd Street and 41st Avenue, almost hitting the cop car head-on, sources said.

Police pulled him over and smelled booze on his breath. A Breathalyzer test found his blood-alcohol level to be more than three times the legal limit, court papers revealed.
