Members deposited their contributions to aid relief efforts during a group meeting at 123 Remsen Street, attended by the Brooklyn Bar, Brooklyn Women’s Bar and Metropolitan Bar associations.
Proceeds will benefit Doctors Without Borders USA, Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund and Salvation Army Earthquake Relief Fund to assist survivors of the January 12, 7.0-magnitude disaster, which killed an estimated 250,000 people.
Those unable to attend but who would like to contribute, can mail their contributions to the Brooklyn Bar Association, 123 Remsen St., Brooklyn, NY, 11201, ATTN: RELIEF.
