TV STAR UP ‘TREE’ AFTER FED ARREST

An actor who plays a basketball coach on the teen drama “One Tree Hill” was at a different kind of court yesterday — slapped with federal charges of trafficking phony Social Security cards and pilfering numbers.

Antwon Tanner, 34 — known as Antwon “Skills” Taylor to fans of the CW TV series — was allegedly caught by feds who were posing as buyers for the cards and ID numbers.

A law-enforcement source said Tanner sold the agents 16 Social Security numbers. He also sold three fake Social Security cards, the source said.

All the transactions allegedly took place over the phone or Internet, and the cards were sent through the mail.

Tanner was released on $250,000 bond following his arraignment in Brooklyn federal court.

He and his lawyer left the courthouse without commenting.

Tanner faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

In addition to his recurring role on “One Tree Hill,” Tanner has appeared in the movies “Coach Carter,” alongside Samuel L. Jackson, and “Never Die Alone,” starring the rapper DMX. He has also had spot roles on TV’s “CSI” and “NYPD Blue.”
