WRITERS TO WALK MON.

Get ready for more TV reruns next week.

Hollywood’s TV and film writers are going on strike on Monday, dealing an immediate blow to “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” and other programs penned daily.

Writers Guild of America board members voted unanimously yesterday to begin the strike at 12:01 a.m. Monday unless studios offered a more lucrative deal with a bigger cut from video sales and shows sold or streamed over the Web.

Both sides agreed last night to meet with a federal mediator tomorrow in Los Angeles in a last-ditch effort to avoid a strike.
