HOT PICKS

KOREA IN QUEENS

The 25th Annual Korean Harvest and Folklore Festival runs tomorrow from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and features food, dance, martial arts demonstrations, traditional Korean wrestling, soccer and chess matches, and perhaps most interestingly, a traditional Korean wedding ceremony. Admission is free at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, where the Long Island Expressway meets the Grand Central Parkway in Queens; (718) 842-2424.

JEWBILEE

Tomorrow begins the Fourth Annual Oyhoo Festival, which means eight days of music, comedy, film and general revelry spread among 15 venues throughout Manhattan. Events range from folksy to modern, and are meant to bring together the Jewish diaspora – though there’s something for everyone, including next Friday’s tribute to Neil Sedaka at Lincoln Center. There are too many entertainers to name, but among the week’s standouts are Jill Sobule, John Zorn, Bonnie MacFarlane, the Captain & Tennille and others whose parents may finally be glad their kids didn’t become doctors. HONG KONG WONG

It’s been 10 years since the British turned Hong Kong over to China, and the Film Society of Lincoln Center is marking the milestone with a festival of 13 recent films from the region. None is more beautiful to watch than “2046,” by Hong Kong’s leading director, Wong Kar-wai, and featuring an all-star Asian cast: Tony Leung, Gong Li, Maggie Cheung, Faye Wong, Carina Lau and Zhang Ziyi. The fest unreels through Thursday at the Walter Reade Theater. Details: filmlinc.com

PAYTON’S PLACE

Few trumpet players alive can swing like “neo-bop” standout Nicholas Payton. The New Orleans Grammy winner, who has recorded with Wynton Marsalis, Joshua Redman, Christian McBride and Roy Hargrove, among others, is just finishing his gig at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola. Catch him and his quintet tonight or tomorrow night at 7:30, 9:30 or 11:30, or Sunday night at 7:30 or 9:30. Time Warner Center, fifth floor, Broadway at 60th Street; tickets $30 or $35. Reservations at (212) 258-9595 or jalc.org.

STEP RIGHT UP

If an elephant, a dancing horse and a clown wander into your local bar this weekend, they’re probably just winding down from a tough day of work at the 30th Annual Big Apple Circus, which comes to Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park tonight and leaves Jan. 13. The big tent is hard to miss at 62nd Street and Amsterdam Avenue, and though some of these entertainers will work for peanuts, tickets are $38-$125 at (212) 721-6500 or Ticketmaster.com

OUT OF THIS WORLD

One of the galaxy’s grandest galas takes place tonight at 9 when Flavorpill’s monthly “One Step Beyond” extravaganza takes over the American Museum of Natural History’s Cullman Hall of the Universe. More than 1,000 hipsters orbit about the artifacts cocktailing, dancing, mingling and taking in screenings of the short edu-tainment film “Passport to the Universe.” Electronica DJs Superpitcher and Josh Wink provide the soundtrack at Central Park West and 81st Street; (212) 769-5100. A $20 ticket also includes a pass to return to the museum for a future visit. For tickets: amnh.org/rose/specials.
