THE RIGHT MEDICINE FOR GRIDIRON PAINS

THIS week, on a very special episode of the Fantasy Tracker – Travis Henry battles drug accusations, but denies violating the league policy. With a prolonged legal process in the offing, how does that affect your fantasy plans? Stay tuned.

Now a word from our sponsor, the Fantasy Tracker pharmaceutical family.

Got a headache the size of Trent Green? If your fantasy QB has a career-threatening concussion, your answer is Cleo Lemon.

Lemon will reduce the sharp pain to a dull throb. It might get you by on a bye week, but Lemon still leaves you in great discomfort.

Your elbow is aching. You’ve got back pain. And you’ve got no viable third quarterback. In other words, you feel like the Carolina Panthers. With Jake Delhomme gone for the year, Carolina turns to backup David Carr, who’s got a sore back, or newly signed dinosaur Vinny Testaverde.

A disturbing side effect to this ailment is reduced production from WR Steve Smith. Smith owners need to take a dose of Trade Me Now. It might not make you feel better immediately, but you’ll thank yourself weeks from now.

Have your wide receivers been letting you down? Particularly ones named Larry Fitzgerald or Anquan Boldin? Then you’ve been suffering Matt Leinart Syndrome.

With Leinart now out for the year with a shoulder injury, your Fitzgerald and Boldin should start feeling better quickly, thanks to the Kurt Warner cure. If you don’t have a Fitzgerald or Boldin, seek a transplant. Right now, getting a Fitzgerald or Boldin isn’t that expensive. Especially Boldin, who has been nursing a sore hip.

The Trent Dilfer Foundation is a nonprofit organization that tries to help fantasy teams that rely on risky quarterbacks, like Alex Smith, who is out until Week 7 with a shoulder problem.

Teams that use Smith as their starter are terminally ill. The Dilfer Foundation seeks to find a cure. But Trent Dilfer is not that cure. The only things that can help these teams are your donations, so give generously.

And now, back to our regularly scheduled program . . .

In a dream sequence, it is revealed that Henry likely will play several more weeks before an official ruling is made regarding his violation of the league’s drug policy. So don’t cut him yet, but do start planning for life without Henry when Selvin Young becomes the Broncos’ main back.
