Keith Chartrand, of Fitchburg, also took a thighbone to make a pipe, police say.

Baltimore police may soon have to arrest themselves for indecent exposure.

The police department has run out of two of the most popular sizes of the custom-made navy-blue pants its officers wear.

“We are officially out,” said Officer Troy Harris. “We’ve put in an emergency order for those sizes.”

Officers in sizes 36 or 38 will just have to hope their old pairs hold up.

An Alabama man felt some non-gas price pain at the pump.

Dwight Clark had to be cut free after he got his finger stuck in the opening of his gas tank after trying to clear some debris in the line.

“His finger went in past the knuckle and was stuck,” said Huntsville Fire & Rescue Capt. Nolen Locke.

Texas firefighters are anything but high after battling a blaze in which more than 2,000 pounds of marijuana went up in smoke.

It took more than 35 firefighters to kill the warehouse blaze in Edinsburg. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were trying to determine the source of the cannabis.

A Washington state woman tied a record for the highest blood-alcohol level ever measured in the state when she blew a 0.5 two hours after being stopped for drunken driving.

That’s six times the legal limit of 0.08 and “should have killed” the Tacoma woman, police said.
