Why the surprise over Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s pick to be co- chairman of her presidential effort in Florida “Hillary’s Odd Pal,” Editorial, June 12)?
After all, who better to run it than someone who knows all about being impeached?
Florida Rep. Alcee Hastings was only the sixth federal judge ever to be impeached and removed from the bench.
Besides, Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s promise that the Democrats would bring ethics and morals back must not apply to presidential campaigns.
Heaven forbid a candidate for president has ethics and morals.

Impeachment and Clintons go together.
The fact that Clinton’s husband pardoned Hastings’ co-conspirator just means that money changed hands somewhere along the line.
The Clintons are the most corrupt politicians to come along since Boss Tweed.
The fact that, after Hastings’ impeachment as a judge, the people of Florida elected him to the same House of Representatives that impeached him just goes to show you how stupid Democrats are.
