‘ALIAS’ BAD GUYS LIVE ON

FOR the good guys on “Alias,” this season is the end of the road. But for the bad guys, it may just be the beginning.

“There are versions of this show which could exist after this season,” executive producer Jeff Pinkner told TV Guide. “There are plenty of stories we’d love to tell.”

Among those stories may be an entire spinoff series revolving around “Alias” villains Sark (David Anders), Peyton (Amy Acker) and Sloane (Ron Rifkin).

“It’s the triumvirate of evil!” Pinkner says, although no official discussions with ABC or any other network have taken place.

Producers have also toyed with the idea of a big-screen adaptation featuring the show’s breakout star, Jennifer Garner.

Meanwhile, getting canceled may have been sad news for the cast and crew of “Alias,” but finding out early in the season gave producers a chance to wrap up the series dramatically.

It also afforded them leeway when it came to deciding the ultimate fates of various characters.

“The good thing about getting the news now,” Pinkner says, “is that we have 10 episodes left to really wrap things up. We can kill characters and not worry about what to do without them next year. ”
