The woman at the center of the St. Patrick’s Cathedral sex scandal has hired a new lawyer famous for representing high-profile divorce clients such as Mia Farrow, Ethan Hawke and Christie Brinkley.
The Post first reported last week that Laura DeFilippo, a St. Pat’s secretary whose husband accused her of having an affair with rector Eugene Clark, was in talks with matrimonial attorney Eleanor Alter.
DeFilippo’s existing lawyer, Michael Berger, said yesterday that Alter will now work alongside him.
DeFilippo is due in court Monday regarding the order of protection her husband, Philip, filed against her. He claims she threatened him with a knife.
