Lil’ Kim’s fans are burning up the Web, threatening turncoat members of her Junior M.A.F.I.A. posse for betraying their beloved “Queen Bee.”
“If I was you, I’d put a hit on all [of them],” a fan named “Brit’nay” posted on the fan site Lilkimzone.com.
“What goes around comes around. They will see,” said another writer, “King B.”
“I hope they die a million deaths. How u gonna rat and snitch on a girl to save your ass from jail!”
The rap world is abuzz that rapper Lil’ Cease ratted out his former partner Lil’ Kim during her perjury trial in Manhattan federal court last week.
And today, another Junior M.A.F.I.A hip-hop performer – former Kim friend Antoine “Banger” Spain – is expected to take the stand today to dispute her version of events regarding a shooting outside the Hot 97 radio station in the Village on Feb. 25, 2001.
Another writer, identified as “Godmother,” said, “We will be watching for da big pay back.”
One writer noted that Lil’ Kim, Lil’ Cease and Banger are protégés of the late legendary Brooklyn rapper Biggie Smalls, a k a Notorious B.I.G., the founder of the Junior M.A.F.I.A.
“BIG is flipping in his grave right now,” the fan said.
“Lil’ Kim is acting like a man more than they are,” said “QB Cali.” “We love you. We will never turn our backs on you.”
Lil’ Kim, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, is on trial for allegedly lying to a grand jury about her knowledge of the two men who confessed to spraying gunfire outside Hot 97 following a promotional event. The men are her ex-boyfriend Damien “D-Rock” Butler and bodyguard Suif “Gutta” Jackson.
Speculation is rampant that Kim will testify in her defense.
According to the perjury indictment, Kim told grand jurors she did not see Butler at the station – although video surveillance and eyewitness testimony indicate that she stood just a few feet from him.
And she told the grand jury she did not know Jackson when shown a photo of him and that she had never been to his home, prosecutors said.
Kim’s lawyer, Mel Sachs, and spokesman, Ron Torrosian, said she cooperated by answering some 2,000 questions before the grand jury – more than two years after the shooting. They said that Kim is innocent of perjury and obstruction charges, which could land her in the slammer for up to 30 years.
“This is a case about Kim’s ability to recognize a photograph,” Torrosian said.
But that’s not how U.S. Assistant Attorneys Cathy Seibel and Dan Gitner see it. They trotted out a parade of eyewitnesses – including Jackson, who pleaded guilty to firing a machine gun and testified that he knew Kim for 10 years.
Meanwhile, Lil’ Cease – whose real name is James Lloyd – said he had no regrets testifying. He said he wasn’t going to take the fall for Kim. But a source close to Lloyd and Spain said they were concerned about being portrayed as rats when they were subpoenaed to testify.
Prosecutors considered them cooperating witnesses because they were granted immunity.
