Goen to the chapel

Congrats to “Entertainment Tonight” co- anchor Bob Goen on his engagement to HGTV host Marianne Curan (“Landscaper’s Challenge”). They met through their agent, Richard Lawrence, and will be married next year.

“ET’s” Maria Menounos, meanwhile, tells Glamour’s November “Celebrity” issue (on newsstands Oct. 14) that she uses 99-cent Vitamin E cream to fight wrinkles and wears vertical stripes to look thinner.

And talk about timely – Halle Berry, recently split from husband Eric Benet, tells Ladies’ Home Journal, in an interview conducted before her marital woes, that she tries to ignore all the talk about her private life. The interview appears in the magazine’s November issue.

“I try not to think about it . . . and we try not to invest in all that at home,” Berry says.

Ch. 4 president/ GM Frank Comerford was honored last night at the Regent Wall Street by the Child Abuse Prevention Program (CAPP) for Ch. 4’s commitment to children and families. CAPP presented Frank with its “Founders Award.” Al Roker emceed; Jane Hanson was also there.

Last, but not least:

J. David “Dave” Davis will succeed Tom Kane as president/GM at Ch. 7. Davis comes from Philly’s WPVI. Kane was fired Tuesday.

Ice-T hosts “The Greatest Gangster Movies Uncut Marathon” Sunday on USA: “The Godfather Part 3” (noon), “Casino” (4 p.m.) and “Scarface” (8 p.m.).
