COPS HUNT DICE-SLAY SUSPECT

Brooklyn police are looking for an “extremely dangerous” suspect in the slaying of a teenager who was killed after a dispute over a craps game turned violent.

Bethel Jones, 23, is sought by detectives investigating the July 10 death of Taquan Rivers, 16, authorities said.

Lt. Joseph Ferrara said a friend of Rivers was involved in a “penny-ante dice game” that turned violent earlier that day. An argument ended with the friend being beaten up.

The friend and Rivers later went looking for the attackers, authorities said.

The pair drove to Jones’ home on Prospect Place. When the friend spoke to someone outside the driver’s-side window, Jones allegedly approached on the passenger side and pumped three bullets inside. One bullet struck Rivers in the head, killing him.
