POSH SPICE MARRIES HER SOCCER SWEETIE

Sexy singer Posh Spice tied the knot with English soccer star David Beckham yesterday at a star-studded Irish wedding ceremony featuring white doves and fireworks.

The curvy pop goddess, whose real name is Victoria Adams, and her Manchester United superstar beau traded vows in a 35-minute ceremony at the picturesque Luttrellstown Castle hotel outside Dublin.

As the lovestruck couple were pronounced man and wife, 100 white doves were released into the sky. Then the newlyweds kissed amid thunderous applause.

At dusk, 250 guests, including pop stars Elton John, George Michael and the rest of the Spice Girls, watched a gala fireworks show. Geri Halliwell – the former Ginger Spice – was not there.

“It was a very romantic ceremony. They both shed a few tears,” Spice Girl spokeswoman Judy Lipsey said. “There is a wonderful fairy-tale atmosphere around the castle. It really is a dream wedding day.”

But it certainly wasn’t a cheap one. Posh’s dress, designed by Vera Wang, cost $90,000, and the wedding itself had a price tag of $800,000. The couple was serenaded by an 18-piece orchestra playing toned-down arrangements of Spice Girl songs, including “Wannabe” and “Spice Up Your Life.”

During a break, John sat down at the piano to belt out a few numbers for the cuddling couple.

Dinner consisted of red-pepper soup, carved turkey and Beckham’s own recipe of sticky toffee pudding.

Outside the castle gates, star-struck Spice Girl fans and boys wearing Manchester United shirts kept a vigil in hopes of seeing their heroes.

Security was ultra-tight because Britain’s OK magazine paid the couple $1.58 million for exclusive access to the ceremonies.

Cops patroled around Luttrellstown and guards with Doberman pinschers stopped gate-crashers.
