If you’re like us, you’ve probably wondered what famous people add to their carts. Not the JAR brooch and Louis XV chair but the hair spray and the electric toothbrush. We asked actress and model Chloe Cherry — who is the face of Urban Decay’s new liquid lipstick, Vice Lip Bond — about her favorite brand of fake blood, her dust-storm-defying running shoes, and the YouTube channel she’s been loyal to for five years.

This is what we used on Euphoria. I’ve used fake blood a lot on sets. And for some reason, I’ve also done a lot of Halloween costumes in my life that incorporate fake blood. Every time I use it I just think it’s so fun. That’s the type of horror I’m attracted to, that I like. It’s scary in a good way, because you know that it’s fake. This stuff is the best because it doesn’t really come off: it stains your skin for a day. You do have to scrub it, and it will eventually go away.

I’m really into working out. I like doing Pilates and yoga and hiking and walking and running, and I just love workout gear. I love the colors that Alo clothes come in, and they also fit so well and feel so good when I work out. All of my workout clothes are from them. The idea of the brand is “studio to street.” So you can wear it to work out and also just work it in life. It’s not an ugly workout outfit, it’s something you can live life in, and I’m obsessed.

I walk a lot. What I tend to do for my daily workout is get 10,000 steps per day. That’s what I’ve noticed gets me in shape the way I want to be the best. I find walking is good for your mental health as well. The Revolutions are my favorite shoes. I have them in black and white, I think that looks best. They’re really lightweight and have a nice bounce to them. I used to do track in school — I’ve been running my whole life — and I’ve noticed shoes are best when they’re lightweight. And I do like black ones because when you hike in L.A., your shoes get covered in dust and they get disgusting.

I’m not as good at using it as a hairdresser is — I own one, but my favorite thing is when a hairdresser uses one on me. It’s the best possible way you can do your hair. I usually just blow out my hair with a round brush. I just think the Dyson works faster [than less expensive blow-dryers] and it actually motivates me to blow-dry my own hair. I found out about it through the internet, it became a trend, so I got it, and it’s literally so great. I use it for special occasions.

Editor’s Note: While we were able to find some models in stock at Dyson at the time of publication, its stock has been fluctuating a lot the last few months. We suggest acting fast if you find one or signing up for the restock notifications on Dyson’s site.

Cody Ko and Noel Miller are YouTubers. I’ve been watching them and listening to them for four or five years now, and they’re my favorite entertainers. They have a podcast together, TMG, and then they each have their own channels. They’re the funniest people I’ve ever found, anywhere. They’re so hilarious, and I agree with all of their opinions, and I love them so much. There’s no one else out there where I agree with their opinions as much.

Urban Decay contacted me wondering if I had any interest in the company, and I actually did. They made the first makeup product I bought when I started using makeup — their glitter eyeliner, that they still sell. So I have a special connection with them, and I’m super-excited about this product, because my favorite thing to do with my lips is make them look really glossy and juicy. And what sucks about gloss is that it just doesn’t last very long. Lip Bond really does last a long time if you apply it correctly. If you shake it, let it sit for five minutes, it will stay glossy over a whole night, I’ll guarantee it. It’s the first time I’ve found a product like that, and I really like glossy lips. This is the kind of product that I’ve wanted ever since I was a kid. My daily look is a nude look, so the Safe Word shade. But if I’m going for a funky thing, I’d go for something purple, with a crazy eye. Or Unbreakable for a classic red lip.
