Comforter shower bomb

5 out of 5 rating. See my demo & review vid below.

Lush has introduced a new shower bomb to the mix. The Comforter shower bomb. Originally introduced at the new Lush Liverpool Spa Mega store, Lush uk decided to offer this to the public for a limited time, on their Lush Labs site at lush.co.uk

So i bought two. I love anytjibg in the Comforter scent.

So far ive loved every one of the 7 different Lush Cosmeticd shower bombs that ive tried.

This Comforter shower bomb is right up there amongst my favorite shower bombs.

Youre supposed to pass the shower bomb quickly one time through the water (dont leave it in the water) and then it starts to activate.

It becomes foamy and creamy and you can rub this foamy cream on your skin to cleanse. Then simply rinse off with warm water.

Its not a conditioning bar, it’s a cleanser, so theres nothing left on the skin after rinsing. Its not drying, it just leaves soft clean skin.

I find this bar to smell like the other comforter scented products, though i definitely smell more of the bergamot note than in other comforter products.

I would recommend this. It was about £2.75

I Want a Pony

5 out of 5 rating

See my 2 minute tub demo below.

I Want a Pony bath oil is one of 350 new products introduced at the new Lush Megastore in liverpool spa.

It was made with the scent of “The Comforter”, which has cassis, black currant and bergamot. Lush has made many products in this popular scent, starting with the bubble bar in 2006.

It doesnt have that odd note that is in some comforter products. No, this is just smooth berrylicous goodness.

Its made with cocoa butter and other good for your dry skin things.

It leaves a soft pink colored water. No sparkle.

I love this!

Heres a video of it melting in the hot bath water.

Dont order this during the hot months or it may arrive melted.

Careful getting out of the tub as it may be a bit more slippery

You Snap the Whip

4 out of 5 rating

I am a sucker for that red currant, berryish scent.  It smells like Ribena tastes.

The You Snap the Whip bar has the scent of “the comforter’ bubble bar, Sweetie Pie jelly, Comforter shower gel, etc.

Another Comforter scent family pic, the You Snap the Whip bar is in the middle right.

Its got a fine grade of pumice in this bar so its more of a gentle exfoliation and not scratchy.

Its moisturizing but not overly moisturizing. After using this bar my skin feels silky smooth and not as dry as my skin usually is.

I love that dark, inky purple color.

Here’s a video demo and review i made of how to use this

Ingredients: Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Macadamia Nut Oil (Macadamia ternifolia), Pumice, Laureth 4, Powdered Charcoal, Perfume, Bergamot Oil (Citrus bergamia), Cassis Absolute (Ribes nigrum)

Below is a photo i took which was a scent family. Lush has made more products in the same scent that are not in this photo. 😊 You can see the You Snap the Whip bar on the left.

Lush 2005 description: When Helen Ambrosen invented the Soft Coeur massage bar it was called Soft Centre but it got renamed the Soft Coeur by the creative team. At the same time is was suggested that we should have Hard Core bar with exfoliating, ground pumice stone inside for people who like to treat themselves severely. Little did we think that Helen would actually come back with the actual article. You Snap the Whip is her hard core, coal black body butter for soft, strokeable, blackcurrant scented skin. It smells of blackcurrants because one of the creative team was constantly piping up about having her favourite massage bar brought back; those of you who remember Cherie Ripe’s dark, smooth, sensual, fruity fragrance will want to have a weekly You Snap the Whip scrub. (At least). Those of you who are too young to remember it but who like the idea of scrubbing with a moisturising, macadamia nut oil, seriously exfoliating, cleansing charcoal bar which smells like Ribena will have to race us to the shops. To use it stroke the bar over your skin when it’s wet and rinse off thoroughly in the bath or shower.
