Mr Morganach (fl. 1470s)[2] was a Scottish man who lived in Feldcroft. He was the father of Isidora Morganach, a medieval Professor of Defence Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as well as a son, who predeceased him.[1]
Biography[]
Due to the psychological trauma following his son's death, he started to display total mutism.[1] This made Isidora, a witch, determined to find a 'cure' for his pain. She invented a pain extraction spell, which she used on him in front of her Hogwarts colleagues, the Keepers. After this, he was able to speak again.[1]
With time, however, he became unresponsive once again, as all emotion had been drained from him.[1]
