MACUSA Notice of Contravention was an official notice issued for violating magical law by the Federal Bureau of Covert Vigilance and No-Maj Obliviation department of the Magical Congress of the United States of America.
It listed various offences of differing degrees, including misconduct and serious violations, as well as possible punishments including fines, wand confiscation, and imprisonment.[1]
