The Golden Tooth[1] is a stronghold in the Westerlands. It is the seat of House Lefford, a noble house sworn to House Lannister of Casterly Rock. It is located near the River Road, in the pass between two mountainous areas, northeast of Casterly Rock and southwest of Riverrun, close to the borders between the Westerlands and the Riverlands.

Game of Thrones: Season 1[]
It was the site of the first battle in the War of the Five Kings, in which Jaime Lannister defeated the Riverlords.[1]
In the books[]
In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, the Golden Tooth is the seat of House Lefford. It is a strong fortress and is well situated to guard the main pass through the mountains and the border with the Riverlands. Gold from the Golden Tooth is one of the major sources of House Lannister's massive wealth.
