Coldplay might have just played the Super Bowl halftime show, but they’ve still got it pretty rough: Both Beyoncé and David Bowie turned down collaborations with the British band, and, as the world found out Sunday evening, Empire star Taraji P. Henson doesn’t even know who they are — a mix-up she later blamed on mixed drinks in the Super Bowl’s VIP lounge.

Henson mistook Coldplay for Maroon 5 Sunday, tweeting and Instagramming, “YAAAAAAASSSSSS!!!! #maroon5 is life to me!!! #superbowl50#HappyCamper I am.” Problem was, Maroon 5 weren’t anywhere to be found, as Coldplay were currently occupying the stage. She eventually deleted the tweet and followed up with, “Oooooooopppps. Lmao!”

“I don’t know if you know how it goes down in the suites,” Henson told Entertainment Tonight afterwards. “They put a lot of drinks in there. Kool-Aid, lemonade, iced tea. I mixed it all and I sat there and I’m sitting with people who drank the Kool-Aid as well.

“I’m human. I made a mistake. It happens!” she went on. “Come on! I drank the Kool-Aid!” The lesson here: Say no to Kool-Aid, kids.
