Hannah Berner, former star of Bravo’s popular reality series Summer House, has officially set the date for her first comedy special with Netflix. The special, titled We Ride At Dawn, is set to premiere on the platform July 9.

The special was filmed at The Fillmore Philadelphia in March of this year. Berner selected the location herself, telling Variety in January that she remembers the venue being a beautiful place with amazing crowds that “know how to have a good time.”

Berner left Summer House in 2021 after three seasons with the show to focus on her career as a comedian. When initially announcing her departure, Berner told Bravo, “Making people laugh is what brings me joy.”

Berner explained that she named her special We Ride At Dawn because of the community that supported her since she began her career in comedy, per Deadline.

“I love empowering them [her community] and helping them forget their problems for at least an hour,” she said.

The comedian wrote and co-produced the special with Kyle Kazanjian-Amory, Marissa Gallant, Brett Kushner and Ryan Polito.

“This is probably the coolest thing that has ever happened to me,” Berner told Variety about the special. “I’m in love with the hour that I’ve been touring for a while now, and I’m honored that Netflix wants to showcase my silly bits. I’m excited for my standup to reach a larger audience and to celebrate the community of badass women and scared boyfriends, mothers and zaddies that got me to this point.”

Berner is currently touring her solo comedy show across America and Europe, which will conclude in August. However, she won’t be on break from touring for long. In September, she’s launching Giggly Squad Live: Club Giggly, a North American comedy tour Berner will perform beside her former Summer House co-star, Paige DeSorbo

In addition to her comedy tours, Berner hosts her popular Giggly Squad and Berner Phone podcasts. She also hosts a video series titled Han on the Street, which has earned millions of views.

“The show will hopefully make everyone cry hysterically laughing and forget about all their problems for 60 minutes,” Berner said, per Variety. “I also hope they leave feeling empowered and not taking life too seriously. That’s the goal.”

Tickets for Berner’s upcoming tour are available now on her website.
