Sweet Grass Dairy, based in Thomasville, Georgia, has unveiled two new cheeses and a rerelease of Georgia Gouda in a strategic move to expand their market presence. Debuting at the Winter Fancy Food Show, these new cheeses have garnered attention from industry players and consumers alike for their rich flavor profiles and accessibility. Crafted with precision and care, each cheese reflects Sweet Grass Dairy’s tradition of excellence, utilizing premium ingredients and time-honored artisanal techniques to deliver unparalleled taste experiences.

The lineup includes:

Georgia Gouda: A reinvention of a classic, Georgia Gouda epitomizes Sweet Grass Dairy’s craftsmanship. This raw cow’s milk cheese, aged for a minimum of 60 days, boasts a smooth texture, balanced flavors, and a nuanced aroma, ideal for melting. Available in both 5 oz exact weight portions and 11 lb wheels for food service.

Heat: Infused with Hatch Green Chile, smoked Spanish paprika, Oregano, Cumin, and other herbs and spices, this pasteurized cheese features a semi-firm texture and vibrant exterior and paste. Available in 5 oz exact weight pieces and 7 lb wheels for food service.

Cypress: Meeting the demand for diverse cheese options, Cypress stands out with its bold and delightful flavor profile. Crafted with carefully selected ingredients, including olives, Calabrian chilis, basil, tomato, and dill, this Mediterranean-inspired cheese offers a semi-firm texture and herbaceous finish. Packaged in convenient 5 oz exact weight portions and 7 lb wheels for food service.

The introduction of exact-weight packaging for retail products further enhances Sweet Grass Dairy’s offerings, providing customers with ready-to-shelve convenience and easy access to pairing suggestions and recipes via a QR code on the back label.
