I doubt, this is *sweet* bread. It looks rather hearty.

I guess, the Slavic(?) word 'Strucla' probably means plait, referring to the shape of this bread but making no statement to its flavour. In German there's the word 'Striezel' (related to eng. string? and slavic strucla?), which is used alike for sweet and hearty bread with a plaited shape. This looks like challah with sesame seeds?
