I believe this structure is wrong, based upon this video. I was very suspicious that the left hand ring was not based on a carbohydrate ring, unlike the rest of the structure. It appears that an OH and a double bond are missing. Also, no stereochemistry is given here, but in the Sanofi video it is based on glucose-derived subunits. I've drawn a new image, File:EnoxaparinSodium.png, which addresses these issues. Can we delete this file, and replace it (where used) with the corrected one? I'll ask some other chemists to verify my comments (or not!). Walkerma (talk) 04:08, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, in addition to your PNG, I uploaded a corrected version as SVG. Is there any reason, why there are two additional monomers outside of the brackets both in the video and your PNG? Cheers, --NEURO ⇌ 11:44, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
