Not a free file in the meaning of COM:L. The file comes from http://web.archive.org/web/20210308012008/https://www.bipm.org/en/si-download-area/graphics-files.html#. When one clicks on a download link, a message box is shown with information that given file is licenced under CC BY-ND 4.0.Also it seems to be above COM:TOO. 157.25.187.217 21:35, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The article has a tag indicating that it does not meet the Threshold of originality, and looking at the examples on that page it seems pretty clear that it does not. This image does not appear to be copyrightable.--Srleffler (talk) 00:43, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Comment it seems under TOO to me. Just to be safe, @Cmglee: coud you redraw it? (like you did for File:SI Illustration Base Units and Constants Colour Full.svg). Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 17:23, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: Per nomination. COM:TOO France – as the ISO organisation has their home in France - shows the level of originality required for copyright protection is low in this country. The selected colours are certainly showing a careful design. In addition, from the “guidelines for users” as shown here, it appears that “…our illustration should never be distorted or altered in any way”. This is not in line with the commons licensing which allows adaptations in all cases. Therefore this image must be deleted regrettably, because it is used on many project pages. Therefore, I created a redirect to File:International System Of Units Logo .png, the black/white version which might be in PD (although I am not certain of this). If you disagree with this decision, please ask for undeletion showing your motivation on COM:UNDELETE. Of course, you might also try to obtain permission from the SI organisation. Perhaps it makes them think about their licensing policy. --Ellywa (talk) 10:41, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
