John DeFore Hollywood Reporter Cheesy but chipper vampire comedy has modest charms. Nov 7, 2012 Full Review John Anderson Variety In an era transfixed by zombies and assorted other ghouls, Vamps is a refreshing change of pace. Nov 6, 2012 Full Review Mark Olsen Los Angeles Times "Vamps" is mostly a misfire, but Heckerling still shows enough flashes of wit and wisdom that she remains hard to entirely dismiss. Rated: 2.5/5 Nov 1, 2012 Full Review Marya E. Gates Cool People Have Feelings, Too. (Substack) I enjoyed the hell out of its ambitions, both in terms of the filmmaking (at one point there are Ray Harryhausen style skeletons!) and it’s political and societal satire. Feb 13, 2024 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed The main takeaway here is that for fans of her style, fans of Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter, this is a fun watch and sometimes, fun is all you need. Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 25, 2022 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Nearly its entire running time rests on the antics of the two leads, who manage to remain an entertaining duo, even though they're really only being passed around from one satirical set piece to another. Desan D Combine worst chick flicks(think cheapest hallmark movies) with a unfunny comedy movie. World building is horrible. Vampires are faster than Flash, stronger than Superman, can clim buildings like Spiderman and they can fly but they really scared of an oldman with a crossbow, Why? As romance sense two character saw each other than immediately fall in love. A succesfull Chickflick/comedy is all about build but you don't have that in here Alicia Silverstone try her best but not enough to save this movie. Let it die in its coffin. There is much better movies out there. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/31/24 Full Review Ryan S Well, I loved this movie, Very Campy, just a good time, great cast. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/24 Full Review KerryWhite's S 6/10. 60/100. | Not me thinking Krysten Ritter was a young Ann Hathaway or Eva Green 😅 And it seems like it takes place and filmed during the late 90's to early 2000's. Can't say that I'm wrong. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/24 Full Review Donna R Campy, silly, fun and adorable vampire movie!!! Loved it!!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/19/23 Full Review J M You would think this would be a cheesy movie and it does have some cheese but honestly it is a fun movie and was cast perfectly. It's an easy pleasant watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
